A new house at the end of a long driveway in the woods starts with a service entrance choice: overhead or underground, location of the mast or pedestal, distance to the panel. We look at the lot with you before the final plans, provide a conduit for a future charger and file the connection request with Hydro-Québec.
In the countryside, an outage also cuts the well pump. A generator connected through a transfer switch keeps the water, heating and fridge running with no risk to the grid. We choose the essential circuits with you, based on the generator’s capacity.

Eastman has no municipal power network: the utility is Hydro-Québec. In the Eastern Townships, only Sherbrooke (in part of its territory), Magog and Coaticook have their own network.
