Slope, distance from the road, trees: the terrain often decides between an overhead and an underground service. We look with you at where the mast or pedestal and the panel should go, and file the connection request with Hydro-Québec.
In the countryside, an outage also cuts the well. A generator connected through a transfer switch keeps the water, heating and fridge running, with no danger to line workers.

Racine has no municipal power network: the utility is Hydro-Québec. In the Eastern Townships, only Sherbrooke (in part of its territory), Magog and Coaticook have their own network.
