Frequently asked questions

Can I combine my town’s grant with Québec’s for a charger?
Écorecharge’s program framework does not limit combining for the $600 flat home grant. Each municipal program has its own conditions: read them before you buy.
Can LTE Électrique apply on my behalf?
No. For home chargers, Écorecharge’s framework states that applicants cannot be represented. You apply yourself; we give you the installation invoice and the information you need.
I’m a Hydro-Sherbrooke, Hydro-Magog or Hydro-Coaticook customer: am I eligible for LogisVert?
Yes. The program guide accepts homes supplied by a municipal network, and the City of Sherbrooke has confirmed it for its customers. Each measure’s conditions apply.
Is the charger installation covered?
Not in a house: Québec’s $600 covers buying or leasing the charger. In a multi-unit building, the individual charger grant covers purchase and installation, up to $5,000. Some towns also refund part of the installation.
What about the federal heat pump rebate?
It was announced on October 8, 2026, but its conditions are not yet published. Hydro-Québec says the offers are planned starting in 2027 and that LogisVert remains in effect.
